STARBLAZE 34L01 FIRE BARRIER COATING SYSTEM
StarBlaze 34L01 is a four component Fire Barrier System consists of very high -density fire & heat resistant mineral wool boards StarBlaze 34L04, coated with water-resistant StarBlaze 34K01intumescent coating, affixed with 34L03 Self expanding fire resistant sealant, which transforms into a hard ceramic during a fire to prevent the passage of fire and smoke and the transfer of heat. Applications Area
- Halogen free.
- Chemical & weather resistant system, comprises of high-density mineral wool non- combustible boards, top coated with 34K01 intumescent coating, 34L02 sealing mortar, 34L03 mineral wool blankets, support GI strips & fasteners.
- Easy to retrofit /pass new cables through existing barriers & re-install.
- Tested & certified to meet ASTM 814, UL 1479 & IS: 12458.
Applications Area
- Light weight 4 hours rated easy to install cable Fire Barrier.
- Fully resistant to moisture, humidity, chemicals, corrosive gases and oil besides offering resistance to rodents & termites.
- Does not shrink or crack thus achieving smoke & gas tight sealing.
- Retrofitting of cables post installation is possible.
- Non – Toxic / Non – Hazardous components, Free from asbestos and volatile solvents.
- Superior load bearing capacity & impact resistance.
- Useable in both through wall & below panel cable penetrations.
- Minimum Density :>170 kg/m3
- Thickness : 50 mm
- Recommended wall thickness for protection : Recommended Thickness of Walls (100mm) & of Floor (150 mm)
